grimsby town centre is changing.

In 2009 North East Lincolnshire Council adopted the Grimsby Town Centre Masterplan as the blueprint for regeneration and redevelopment in the town centre. Production of the Masterplan was a major piece of work involving the views of local businesses and local residents, the GGRP, NELC and Yorkshire Forward. The result is a plan for redeveloping key areas of the town centre with a clear focus on projects which can be delivered within the next five years. However, the Masterplan also looks at the longer term future of the town centre over the next 25 years by outlining activities and projects which can be implemented in later years to follow on from the first phase of activity. Details of these first phase or ‘Tier 1’ projects can be found below.
